Susan B. Miller, PhD, clinical psychologist
For many years, I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of adults, adolescents, and couples in my Ann Arbor clinical practice. My psychotherapy work emphasizes the needs of the individual. I have an educational background in psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy, but I adapt my work based on the situation and person. Different people respond to different approaches, but all people benefit from careful and respectful listening. I like to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, who have a wide range of circumstances and goals. My office is in downtown Ann Arbor, at 202 E Washington #508 (at the corner of Washington Street and Fourth Avenue). The office is modest-sized and and offers a variety of seating choices and natural light. I can be reached at 734-995-0416. I return calls as quickly as possible.

I earned my BA from the University of Michigan Honors Program, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and achieved my MA and PhD from the University of Michigan. I have published five psychology books as well as two books of fiction. You can learn more about my published books here. I recently produced a podcast with psychologist and creativity scholar, Doug Wheeler. The topics are my work as a psychotherapist and my writing, both fiction and non-fiction.
